Our Program

At Busy Bees Long Day Child Care Centre, we offer a rich, play-based learning program that supports the holistic development of every child. Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), our program nurtures each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth, helping them build the confidence and curiosity to explore the world around them.

Our curriculum is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), which underpins all planning, teaching, and learning experiences within the centre.
We believe children learn best through hands-on exploration and meaningful experiences. Every day at Busy Bees is filled with opportunities to wonder, create, and discover.

Our educators thoughtfully plan and adapt experiences that reflect each child’s interests, developmental stage, and cultural background, ensuring every child feels included, respected, and valued.

Our approach combines both structured and child-led learning, allowing children to make choices, express themselves, and develop independence. Through play, they learn to collaborate, problem-solve, think creatively, and build essential life skills, all while having fun.

We advocate for children’s independence by providing meaningful opportunities for them to develop self-help skills in their everyday routines. Children are encouraged to take responsibility for tasks such as making their beds, dressing themselves, packing away belongings, serving food, and managing personal care needs. These experiences help build confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of responsibility. By supporting children to do things for themselves, we empower them to become capable, competent, and independent learners.

Families are an important part of our learning community. We value open communication and partnership with parents, incorporating family input into our planning to create a strong and seamless connection between home and centre.
